The Police, Fire and First Aid Departments are obvious, as are hospital workers of all types, yes; even the laundry and janitorial staff require advanced first aid certifications for employment. Those professionals, who work with, teach and care for the elderly or developmentally disabled are required to have advanced first aid certifications, as well.
