     ENSAFE: INSTITUTE FOR HEALTH, SAFETY & COUNSELLING TRAINING LTD started in 1998 as "New Vision in Learning" with one A-level Sociology student. Our 'new vision' was to focus on teaching individuals rather than classes en masse. 
     Gradually we grew, where we were able to register with the Ministry of Education in 2004. Since then, New Vision In Learning has conducted SEA, CXC / O'level, A' level, Computer classes and courses in counseling and Occupational Safety and Health.
     In 2006,when the Ministry of Science & Tertiary Education was in the process of collaborating with the Accreditation Council of Trinidad and Tobago,our institution wanted to develop diploma courses in counselling and as such,we sent a representative to meetings held by the Ministry and ACTT to obtain information upon what course of action to take.
     Since it was felt that to develop the counseling  programmes  might take some time it was decided that since we were already conducting safety courses, we would  continue along that avenue.
    Early in 2008,it was decided to keep to keep New Vision In Learning which would still operate its computer classes,SEA and CXC classes and register another institution to conduct health and safety courses, En-Safe Health & Safety Training & Consultancy Services.
     En-Safe Health & Safety Training & Consultancy Services has therefore been formally in operation since March 2008 initially operating from #143 A Coffee Street, San Fernando. We received ACTT registration status in July 2009 and in September 2009, the institute was moved to #156-158 Coffee Street,San Fernando.
    Our institution, ENSAFE: INSTITUTE FOR HEALTH, SAFETY & COUNSELLING TRAINING LTD, is continuously upgrading and developing and as such we are consistently upgrading the quantity and quality of courses that we offer to our clients.

We are the leading safety training institution in Trinidad today with more than 7 years experience in the health and safety training industry.

Our institution originally started operations as “New Vision In Learning” in 1998 [Ministry of Education Registration #1378] where we conducted SEA, CXC O’Level, A’Level, Computer classes.

We began by instilling quality in teaching and training our students and we still continue with these classes and courses today.

In 2007, we decided to register ENSAFE Health & Safety Training & Consultancy Services, to expand our repertoire of courses thereby moving into the arena of continuous professional development. ENSAFE Health & Safety Training & Consultancy Services became a tertiary educational provider where our institution was registered with The Accreditation Council of Trinidad and Tobago (ACTT) in July 2009 [ACTT Registration # actt/reg/inst/pvt/52].

In addition to this in 2008, we became an educational centre with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), Emergency Care and Safety Institute to conduct a range of First Aid courses.

We also became an accredited centre (Centre 741) in 2010 with the National Examination Board of Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) in the United Kingdom to conduct the NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety as well as the NEBOSH International Technical Certificate in Oil and Gas Operational Safety.

In 2014, due to a request from The Accreditation Council of Trinidad and Tobago, we altered the name of our institution to ENSAFE: INSTITUTE FOR HEALTH, SAFETY & COUNSELLING TRAINING LTD. This was done in order to facilitate the expansion of our institution in the arena of counselling training.

We are justly proud of our achievement where our institution has received approval from ACTT in order to offer the following two NEW tertiary level courses to your organization:

a)   Diploma in Child and Adolescent Counselling

b)  Certificate in Phlebotomy

These courses were developed by our institution and are the first of its kind in Trinidad and Tobago to achieve international recognition through ACTT.
